Chandrababu Naidu went to Kakinada as part of his Dharma Porata Deeksha where he once again wailed about the injustice meted out to the State by the Centre.
During his speech, Naidu raised two points which would make an honest man shake his head in disbelief.
One was about Narendra Modi’s promise to bring back the black money stashed in Swiss Banks back to India.
Black money in Swiss banks has nothing to do with SCS to Andhra Pradesh. So, why was the TDP silent about this aspect all these four years?
Naidu never spoke a word about it when he was in bed with the BJP all along. Why is he raising this issue only now?
Second, Naidu said the BJP with its ill-advised policies had brought misery to the people of the country and the harshest of its measures was demonetization.
When Narendra Modi announced demonetization, Naidu actually took credit for it saying that the Prime Minister had acted on his advice. But very soon, realizing that public sentiment was against demonetization, he made a U-turn and put the blame on the BJP.
How can Naidu lie so blatantly without even an iota of remorse? If the BJP policies were destructive to the nation, why did he support them for four long years?
Were they good as long as he was in the NDA? Is this kind of appalling deceit worthy of a Chief Minister?
