BJP, YSRC Have Secret Pact, Suspects TDP

The ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh is suspecting that the BJP leaders were speaking the language of the YSR Congress party in attacking chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu personally and his government in general.

Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa told media on Monday that there was every indication that the BJP had come to a secret understanding with the YSR Congress party and both of them have a secret agenda to defame the TDP.

Rajappa pointed out that YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had never criticized the BJP and the BJP had not been heard slamming the YSRCP. There seems to some kind of understanding among the two.

He sought to know why the BJP leaders were not saying anything even when the YSRC leaders were taking about moving a no-confidence motion against the NDA government.

On the issue of the resignation of the BJP ministers from the state cabinet, he said it is up to the BJP to take a call on it. He said the TDP was abiding by the rules of friendship.

He called upon the BJP leaders to inform their central leadership about the conditions and the mood prevailing in the state.
