The Bihar polls are over and Nitish Kumar will once again come to power. That is a given. But an interesting outcome of the mahagathbandhan is that Lalu's RJD was ahead of Nitish Kumar's JD (U).
Well, it is being said that while the caste that Nitish Kumar belongs to voted for Lalu, the caste that Lalu belonged to did not vote for Nitish in the same numbers.
Well, all these equations apart, the fact remains that they swept the poll and this is good news for their alliance and of course the Congress party.
It also shows that the disillusionment with BJP has already begun with the party being voted out in almost all states that went to polls after the 2014 general elections.
