AP, TS Health Ministers Face 'Munnabhai MBBS' Allegations!

One of the ministers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments cabinet have one thing in common. Both are facing allegations over their  educational qualifications. Strangely, both of them are health ministers in respective state cabinets.

Telangana Health Minister C Laxma Reddy is facing allegations of furnishing wrong details about his educational qualifications in his election affidavit.

It is alleged that the educational qualifications mentioned by the Minister in his 2004 and 2014 election affidavits were different according to the records.

In 2004 affidavit, the Minister mentioned that BHMS degree was completed in 1988 but in 2014 elections affidavit he mentioned that the degree was completed in 1987 and educational institutions were different in both the affidavits.

However, Laxma Reddy has been denying these allegations and challenged to quit the politics if anyone proves that his BHMS degree was fake.

Similarly, AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas is alleged to have completed the MBBS degree in 11 years while the duration of the course is five-and-a-half years.

Kamineni Srinivas created a flutter by stating that YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan consumed food during the recent indefinite hunger strike demanding Special Status for AP.

Kamineni alleged that the test results of YS Jagan varied from time to time and as a doctor by himself he can say without any doubt that YS Jagan had taken food.

This led to sharp protests from YSRCP leaders who claimed that Kamineni was not at all a ‘real doctor’ and knew nothing about medicine as he could finish MBBS in 11 years by failing in several subjects multiple times.
