2.0 Is An Indian Film, Not A Tamil Film

Star filmmaker Shankar cleared the air by saying that 2.0 is not a sequel to Robo.

“2 Point O is not an extension to Endhiran aka Robo. It is set in a different backdrop with a few familiar characters,” he said.

Shankar also refused to call it a Tamil film. He said that 2.0 is a pan Indian film and not just a Tamil film.

Shankar said that 2.0 has a strong social message that people across the world can relate to. He wanted Arnold Schwarzenegger for the villain role for the same reason.

Rajinikanth said that 2.0 will be a prestigious film for our country. He also added that he is sure that audience in India and other foreign countries will love the film.

2.0 only has three songs and two of those songs will be launched tomorrow in Dubai. Another song will be launched later said AR Rahman.

2.0 is gearing up for release on Jan 25, 2018. It will have simultaneous release in multiple languages in India and abroad.

Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson are playing other important characters in this by far the costliest film in the Indian cinema history.
