Will Viveka's daughter contest on TDP ticket?

Will Viveka's daughter contest on TDP ticket?

The charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the case of former minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy, uncle of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, has certainly created tremors in the YSR Congress party.

With the CBI pointing an accusing finger at Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy, the YSRC has launched a counter-attack on the CBI and also at Telugu Desam Party, which is trying to gain political mileage by dragging Jagan into the case.

For the last two days, senior YSRC leader and advisor to the state government in public affairs Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has been attacking the CBI for filing the charge sheet based on total lies and also turning the tables on TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.

In the process, Sajjala has also suspected the dubious role of Viveka’s daughter Dr N Sunitha Reddy in slinging mud on Jagan’s family and expressed apprehensions that she might be hand in glove with the TDP chief.

According to Sajjala, Sunitha might have joined hands with Naidu in slinging mud on Jagan’s family and project it as the main culprit in the Viveka murder case.

He also suspects that Sunitha might join the TDP and Naidu might field her as the party candidate in Pulivendula to cash in on sympathy factor.

Sajjala said Viveka’s death was in fact a big loss to the YSRC as he had campaigned for party candidate Avinash Reddy till a day before his brutal murder.

“How can the CBI suspect the hand of Avinash Reddy in the murder?” he asked.

There is a talk within the YSRC that Sunitha had met Chandrababu Naidu at a hospital recently. So, there is no surprise that she might make an entry into politics through the TDP.

However, one wonders whether Sunitha would really contest the elections on the TDP ticket, as it would only backfire on her in Pulivendula. It would lend credence to the talk that she was targeting Jagan’s family only on the behest of the TDP.
