Will call Jagan an adopted son of CBI, says Pawan

Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday took strong exception to YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy referring to him an adopted son of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.

“I am not adopted by anybody. If you continue to call me an adopted son of CBN (Chandrababu Naidu), I will be forced to call you the adopted son of CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation). Everybody knows how the CBI had given you the treatment,” Pawan said.

He also countered the comments made by the other YSR Congress party leaders, describing the Jana Sena Party as the B-team of the TDP.

“If we are the B-team of TDP, we should be calling you the shuttle team of Charlapalli jail. You were thrown behind the bars for your economic offences. You don’t have the moral right and stature to preach us,” he said.

Pawan said while he was talking on people’s issues, the YSRC leaders were making personal attacks on him.

“Remember, I have not studied abroad and returned. I studied in Chirala in Prakasam district. I can speak better language than that of YSRC leaders,” he warned.

The Jana Sena chief announced that his party would give Rs 1 lakh each to the families of the deceased tenant farmers who committed suicide due to distress. He demanded that the government give Rs 7 lakh to each of them.
