Why Biden Owes His Victory To Chandrababu Naidu!

YSR Congress party general secretary and parliamentary party V Vijay Sai Reddy, known for taking pot shots at Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu whenever there is an opportunity, did not leave him even on the occasion of US elections.

In a sarcastic tweet last night, Sai Reddy said: “Joe Biden has commented with his close confidants that he could become the US president only because of Chandranna (Chandrababu Naidu). He told them he had won the elections because Chandranna did not support me like he had done for Hillary Clinton. By the way, Biden would have lost deposit had Lokesh contested the US elections.”

Sarcasm apart, Naidu was known for his bitter criticism against Donald Trump. When Trump got elected as the US president, the TDP president, who was then the chief minister of AP, never minced words in attacking him.

In an indirect reference to Jagan, Naidu once said placing power in the hands of people like Trump was like handing a stone to a mad man.

“The US president has shown the world how power could be misused if placed in the hands of the wrong man,” he said while criticising him on the H1-B visa policy of the Trump administration.

He also criticized Trump over his comments on women.

"Trump spoke badly about women... It sparked worldwide reactions. Women are inferior to none. It shows the hollowness in his words. Even a top-ranking nation like America is having a leadership crisis," Naidu said.

Even TDP spokesman Kommareddy Pattabhi said on Sunday that there were many glaring resemblances between Jagan and Trump when it comes to neglecting Coronavirus, targeting the poor, leading lavish lifestyles, attacking Constitutional institutions and imposing huge debt burdens.

“The US voters taught a bitter lesson to Trump now and Jagan would meet with the same fate sooner or later,” he said.
