Hyderabad Family of 4 Dies in Fiery Crash During US Vacation

A tragic accident in the United States claimed the lives of a Hyderabad-based family of four.

Tejaswini, Sree Venkat, and their two children were vacationing in Dallas when their vehicle was hit by a truck and caught fire.

The family was returning from Atlanta after visiting relatives when the fatal crash occurred. All four died at the scene.

Arrangements are underway to bring their bodies back to Hyderabad for the final rites.

In a separate incident, two Indian students from Cleveland State University — Manav Patel (20) and Saurav Prabhakar (23) — died in a car crash in New York.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, the accident happened on May 10 in East Cocalico Township.

Prabhakar, who was driving, and Patel died instantly, while another passenger was hospitalized with injuries.

CCTV footage showed the car veering off the road, hitting a tree, and crashing into a bridge.

The Indian Consulate expressed grief on social media, calling the incident deeply saddening.
