Watch: What a double-speak, Mr Pawan!

There have been umpteen instances of power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan making contradictory statements on controversial issues. He speaks in one tone on occasion and exactly in contradictory tone on another occasion.

It clearly shows that there is no clarity of thought for Pawan or he has the habit of changing his tunes according to the situations. Or he must be thinking people are just idiots and he is an intellectual who can speak whatever that comes to his mind.

The YSR Congress party on Wednesday brought out two different videos featuring Pawan Kalyan’s speeches on two different occasions in which he spoke about atrocities on women.

In the first video, Pawan Kalyan was recalling an incident in his childhood.

“I was very young at that time and I think my father was an SI (he doesn’t even know what his father was). My sister was ragged by some miscreants, who pulled her holding her arm. Somebody came to her rescue and she came home crying.

“I was so infuriated and in a fit of rage, I went into the kitchen in search of a knife and I wanted to kill them instantly,” he said, amidst thunderous applause from the audiences.

In the second video, apparently belonging to his meeting at Tirupati on Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan changed his tune completely, while reacting to the last week’s rape and murder of a veterinary doctor (named by police as Disha) in Hyderabad.

He was heard saying in the video that there was a largescale demand from thousands of people for publicly hanging the four accused in Disha rape and murder case.

“Some others said they should be lynched. In another case in Delhi, a judge of High Court or Supreme court suggested that the private parts of the culprits should be chopped off. One can understand the severity of the incident as even a Judge has reached peaks in anger What I would like to say is that why do you people reach to such extremities,” he asked.

He went on to say: “If a woman goes out and comes home by evening, and if something happens to her, the person responsible for it should be given two smacks with a cane in front of everyone till his skin rips off. Today what you people say is to hang them till death in front of everyone. We should remember that we don’t have the right to kill a person.”

So, when his sister was ragged, Pawan justifies his anger that promoted him to look for a knife to kill the accused. But when the people demand lynching or public hanging of the accused in Disha murder case, he suggests that the accused should be caned in public, as we don’t have the right to kill any person.

What a hypocrisy, Mr Pawan?
