Once Again, Kavitha's Indirect Jibe at KTR Sparks Buzz

Once Again, Kavitha's Indirect Jibe at KTR Sparks Buzz

The internal rift within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) seems to be reaching its peak.

BRS MLC and daughter of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, has intensified efforts to carve her own path within the political landscape.

Distancing herself from the party’s current functioning, she is moving forward under the banner of Telangana Jagruthi.

Recently, she held leadership training sessions and began promoting her own agenda, including a push for 42% reservations for the BC community.

In this context, Kavitha announced a bold move: a 72-hour Gandhian-style hunger protest without even drinking water.

She said she has formally requested permission from the government and police for the protest.

Speaking to the media, she referred to the inappropriate remarks made against her and expressed disappointment over the lack of support from her own party.

She stated that the people of Telangana have strongly condemned the derogatory comments directed at her, but BRS leaders have remained silent.

Shockingly, she hinted at the involvement of senior BRS leaders behind the attacks on her, which has sparked speculation.

Her indirect remarks are widely interpreted as being aimed at her brother and BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR), along with key leaders like Harish Rao and Santosh Rao.

The controversy stems from offensive remarks made by Congress MLC Teenmaar Mallanna against Kavitha.

In response, Telangana Jagruthi activists attacked his office. While Congress and BJP leaders criticized Mallanna, BRS leaders notably chose to remain silent.

Kavitha’s mention of this silence and her veiled criticism of her own party colleagues has now become a hot topic of political discussion.
