Vulture Faces Inevitable Death Despite Prey Count

Vulture Faces Inevitable Death Despite Prey Count

It seems as though Eenadu group chairman Cherukuri Ramoji Rao believes he has a separate constitution in the country, or at least in Andhra Pradesh. He either believes he can do anything and get away with it, or that whatever he writes or does is right.

When AP CID officials questioned Ramoji Rao, there was a hue and cry as if he were above the laws in force in the state, or as if touching him for any reason was wrong.

The APCID had investigated into the financial transactions of the Margadarsi Chit Fund Private Limited in the state and found several irregularities.

To promote his Priya chocolates, Ramoji Rao's Eenadu group campaigned against Nutrine chocolate until it was closed.

It was discovered that the money collected from people in the form of chits was diverted to mutual funds or other investments by Ramoji Rao, against the laws of the land.

If the chit fund money was being diverted for investment into other business activities, what makes him exceptional if he is not questioned and, later, if proved guilty, arrested?

Ramoji Rao did not allow any chit fund company in the state to survive. Dozens of chit fund companies were closed with Eenadu's campaign, only benefiting Margadarsi.

Subhadarshi, Poojitha, Model, Namburu, Tamanna, Tulluru, and finally, the AgriGold chit fund companies were closed with the negative campaign by Ramoji Rao's media house.

Ramoji Rao's media did negative campaigns against media houses like Andhra Patrika, Andhra Prabha, Andhra Bhoomi, Udayam, and Vaartha over the years and is responsible for their closure or fall.

Ramoji Rao's media did not spare the private lives of anyone he felt was a threat to his business activities.

Ramoji Rao's media did not spare anyone, nor does it now, in presenting allegations, though not proved.

So, there is no justification for Ramoji Rao to shed crocodile tears for any reason when he is nailed for his misdeeds.

He had been haunting many people for all these years to protect his business using the Eenadu group media - both print and electronic.

A vulture dies at the end, no matter how many animals it had killed in its lifetime!
