Vidadala Rajini caught in yet another row!

YSR Congress party leader and former Andhra Pradesh health minister Vidadala Rajini, who has been facing a CID case for her alleged involvement in an illegal extortion racket targeting a stone crusher owner a few months ago, has landed in yet another controversy.

The latest case involving Rajini in a massive job fraud case has come to light in Palnadu district.

Several victims, including a B Pharmacy student named Krishna from Dornala, have lodged complaints with the district Superintendent of Police (SP), accusing Rajini’s personal assistants and aides of collecting nearly Rs 5 crore from unemployed youth by promising them government jobs.

According to the complaint, Rajini’s PAs — Sreekanth Reddy and Dodda Ramakrishna — along with her close followers Sriganesh and his brother Kumaraswamy, allegedly lured job aspirants during Rajini’s tenure as Health Minister.

They reportedly collected Rs 8 lakh per person, assuring them of contract postings within the Health Department.

However, when no jobs materialized, the victims demanded their money back. Instead, the accused allegedly threatened them and went incommunicado, switching off their phones.

Frustrated, the victims have now approached the police, leading to a major embarrassment for the former minister and the YSRCP.

Sources said the complainants have provided bank transaction details and WhatsApp messages as evidence. Police officials have begun a preliminary investigation and are likely to summon the accused for questioning.

“This is a serious betrayal of unemployed youth who were desperate for opportunities,” said a senior police officer. “If proven true, it will amount to criminal breach of trust and extortion.”

The case has sparked political outrage, with the ruling TDP demanding a full probe and questioning the moral credibility of the YSRCP leadership.

The scandal, they say, exposes the rot within the system that preyed on job seekers during the former government’s tenure.

In the previous case, Rajini was accused of indulging in illegal collection of Rs 2.20 crores from the owners of Sri Lakshmi Balaji Stone Crusher in Kandrika village, Yadlapadu mandal, Palnadu district.

The CID is now investigating the case.
