Amaravati: Former minister Kodali Nani is back in the headlines. For the past few months, he has been battling a serious health condition and recently underwent cardiac treatment in Mumbai, narrowly escaping a life-threatening situation.
He is currently recovering and resting in Hyderabad. Amid this, rumors have surfaced that he is planning to travel to the United States.
This has prompted the coalition government to take notice.
It’s already known that Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi hold key positions in the alliance’s so-called "Red Book" of political targets.
With Vamsi already in jail, Kodali Nani appears to be next in line.
Sources say that if not for his health issues, he would likely have been arrested by now. For the police, preparing a case to justify an arrest wouldn't be a difficult task.
Judging by the arrests of Vamsi and several opposition leaders and activists, it’s clear that cases are being filed and individuals are being kept behind bars for extended periods.
In this context, Krishna district police have issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) to prevent Kodali Nani from leaving the country via sea or air routes. This move strongly suggests that police are waiting for the right moment to arrest him.
While the police have not officially confirmed any specific case against Kodali Nani, the issuance of the LOC speaks volumes — it’s a clear signal that his arrest is imminent.
