Social Media Control: Jagan May Follow Modi

Social Media Control: Jagan May Follow Modi

Social media has become a highly volatile, uncontrollable fire that is spreading without restraint.

The situation in Andhra Pradesh politics is more inflammable as the social media groups of both YCP and TDP are at loggerheads with each other. Both party wings are targeting women from both sides of the families to attack each other, unfortunately.

Dragging family women into political disputes by disgracing them is unwelcome at any time. Unfortunately, both sides have stooped to the abyss in this regard, pointing fingers at each other and arguing about who started it first.

Is there any way out of this? Can this nuisance be stopped? Yes, of course.

Narendra Modi's government is not sparing anyone who posts something defamatory or obscene about any BJP leaders at the center. Within a few hours, such netizens are apprehended by the police and placed in custody.

Due to this fear, many netizens have ceased personal attacks and stopped bringing women into disgraceful verbal confrontations. Even the Congress party's social media wing at the central level is restrained in this scenario.

Only the government head can take action in this regard. He should direct his social media team to refrain from verbally attacking the opponents on a daily basis and to avoid involving women.

Simultaneously, he should instruct the police to detain any netizen who posts disrespectful content about any women affiliated with any party. Then the situation can come under control.

The purpose of the YCP's social media wing is to promote the welfare schemes. The employees in the social media team are on a salary basis, and their daily duty is not just throwing memes and trolls at the opposition party. They need to engage in such activities only when the opposition party unjustly criticizes the YCP government.

Hope YS Jagan Mohan Reddy focuses on this matter and takes necessary police action on the social media posts in the interest of maintaining that wing for constructive political purpose.
