Shah to visit AP, may give clarity on alliances!

After activating the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana to make it war-ready for this year’s assembly elections, Union home minister Amit Shah appears to have turned his attention on Andhra Pradesh.

Shah would be visiting two districts in Andhra Pradesh on January 8 to address the party meetings and give directions to the party leaders, besides speaking at a public meeting to rejuvenate the party cadre.

Shah would first address a public meeting at Kurnool at 11.15 am, wherein he would spell out the party’s strategy.

Later, he would enter Sri Satya Sai district after taking his lunch. He would have a meeting with party workers there at 1.30 pm.

Later, he would also address a public meeting at Puttaparthi at 3 pm, followed by his visit to Satya Sai ashram.

At 5 pm, he would again have a closed-door meeting with party leaders to give them a road map for the next elections in Andhra Pradesh, before leaving back to New Delhi.

Shah’s visit comes in the backdrop of the talk that Jagan might go in for early elections in the state.

He is also expected to make the party stand clear on the three capitals issue and give a direction to the party cadre in this regard.

He may also give some clarity on the alliance with Jana Sena Party and the Telugu Desam Party during his interaction with the party leaders, say sources.
