Ranarangam Director Sets New Trend

Several top directors in Tollywood recently faced accusations of plagiarism. Trivikram had landed in big trouble when he copied a foreign movie’s story for “Agnyaathavaasi”.

In the wake of lawsuits, Samantha bought the rights of a Korean movie and remade it as “Oh Baby” and Nagarjuna bagged the French movie’s rights for “Manmadhudu 2”.

Now, director Sudheer Varma is telling all that his “Ranarangam” is inspired by Hollywood classic movies such as “Godfather 2” and “Goodfellas”. His honesty is getting a lot of praise from the netizens. 

Sudheer Varma says that he has taken the screenplay structure from “Godfather 2”. By openly acknowledging the inspiration, Sudheer Varma is setting a new trend in Tollywood.

“Ranarangam” stars Sharwanand, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan. The film is releasing this Independence Day.
