Interesting as it might sound, Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan wants at least 15 years for the Telugu Desam Party-led coalition government to rule the state, if it has to resolve all the problems of the people.
“I appeal to the people to grant the ruling NDA coalition at least 15 years to deliver transformative governance in the state. We need time to deliver justice to the people,” he said, while addressing a large gathering at the Palleturi Panduga 2.0 public meeting held in Shivakodu village of Konaseema district.
In a sharp attack on YSR Congress party leaders, Pawan Kalyan said their political conduct had not changed even after the party lost power.
He urged them to accept democratic criticism rather than resorting to personal attacks or intimidation.
The deputy chief minister made it clear that he would not pardon habitual offenders under any circumstances.
“If someone repeatedly engages in wrongdoing, I will never forgive them. If they refuse to change, they will witness Pawan Kalyan’s firmness,” he declared.
“Even within my own party, I will not tolerate anyone who violates democratic values. Anyone who disrespects democracy will be removed from Jana Sena.”
Reacting to YSRCP leaders’ claims that their party would return to power in 2029, Pawan Kalyan said, “I am declaring from the soil of Rajolu that such a thing will not happen.”
Pawan Kalyan criticised YSRCP leaders for their comments on social media and warned them that continued misconduct would invite a strong response.
Calling on young people to hold elected representatives accountable, he urged them to question authorities on local issues and ensure village-level governance remains transparent.
