The news about Ramoji Rao vacating Eenadu's Vijayawada office from Benz Circle and shifting it to Autonagar has drawn the attention of media and political circles. There has been widespread talk that Jagan Mohan Reddy's involvement is there in this episode, and the entire YCP social media has been focused on this topic.
However, when probed for details, a different story is emerging, citing no involvement of Jagan Mohan Reddy in it. According to the information available, this 3-acre site belongs to Dolphin Apparao, the brother-in-law of Ramoji Rao and his close relative. The plot was taken for lease decades ago, and the Eenadu office was built on it.
Eventually, there were long-standing legal issues and disturbances between Ramoji Rao and the owners of the plot. Finally, Ramoji Rao had to surrender that land to Dolphin Apparao's relative, who then gave it to a developer to demolish the existing wall and other structures and rebuild it to set up NRI Hospital, as per sources.
With this long-pending issue now partially resolved, many are concluding that it is solely the power game of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
