Continuing the war of words with his elder brother and former Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani, present Lok Sabha member Kesineni Shivanath alias Chinni, said he was open to any kind of inquiry and that he had guts to face the media, unlike his brother.
Giving a strong counter to Nani, the TDP MP told reporters at Chandarlapadu in NTR district that he had the courage to face the media openly, unlike his brother.
“Jagan’s stooges, who lack courage, avoid facing the press and instead confine themselves to Facebook and other social media platforms to sling mud at me,” he said.
He questioned whether Kesineni Nani had ever faced the media even once after losing the elections.
“Nani lacks transparency and accountability. He belongs to the kind of people who would succumb to the lure of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ill-gotten money,” Chinni said.
The MP said there was no need to respond to Jagan’s henchmen and made it clear that he does not consider them worthy of a reply.
Meanwhile, TDP Spokesperson Nagul Meera alleged that it was Nani, not Chinni, who was involved in various fraudulent financial transactions. He accused Nani of loan fraud involving Kesineni Hotels Pvt. Ltd.
Meera alleged that Kesineni Nani defaulted on bank loans and misused company resources.
He went so far as to claim that Nani would soon land in jail and would share the same prison with YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He alleged that Nani had diverted bank loans to shell companies, raising serious questions about financial misconduct.
He alleged that Nani had replaced hotel directors and is currently running “Andhra Restaurant” in the same premises under the names of his daughters.
He demanded that the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) launch a high-level investigation into Nani’s financial crimes.
He also said that Nani’s recent criticisms of the Telugu Desam Party were driven by jealousy and frustration.
