Naidu Worried About His Own Win In Kuppam?

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who had been representing Kuppam assembly constituency in Chittoor district since 1989 assembly elections and he never lost his elections.

Such had been his confidence that Naidu hardly campaigned for himself in Kuppam in the previous elections and the people still voted for him.

Even when there were no elections, he had never gone to Kuppam constituency regularly, but since it is the high profile constituency, the official machinery does not let it to be neglected and takes up various developmental programmes.

But this time, Naidu is said to be slightly worried over his victory in Kuppam.

The anti-establishment wind has started blowing even in Kuppam and the people are said to be unhappy with Naidu for not coming to the constituency even once in a year. This anger might be reflected in the elections.

Sensing this disgruntlement among the voters through intelligence agencies. Naidu decided to focus on Kuppam, too, these elections. But being the party president and the chief minister, the TDP chief cannot tour the constituency extensively and ask for votes.

So, for the first time, Naidu has deputed his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari to focus on Kuppam electioneering.

For the last few days, she has been regularly interacting with party leaders and cadre in the constituency through teleconference, monitoring the electioneering and also doing poll management.

She has been giving direction to the party leaders to ensure a huge majority to Naidu in the elections.

She also assured that any party worker can approach her from Kuppam or elsewhere in the state on any grievance and give suggestions for the development of the constituency.
