The recent suicide of Shyam, a die-hard fan of Jr NTR, has stirred up a significant controversy in the film and political circles.
Despite releasing a selfie video before his death, there have been doubts expressed regarding the circumstances surrounding his suicide.
Jr NTR, while expressing his condolences for the death of his fan Shyam, has also raised doubts about the suicide and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
He said, "I am unsure of the circumstances that led him to take such a step, but the government should order a comprehensive inquiry into the matter."
Seizing the opportunity, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu attempted to gain political advantage by appeasing Jr NTR.
Naidu personally called the family members of Shyam to offer his condolences.
He announced that the TDP would fully support the family in every possible way. Naidu also expressed his condolences to the family via a tweet.
Representatives of the TDP from East Godavari visited Shyam's family on behalf of the party to provide consolation.
Shyam's father, Srinivasa Rao, informed Naidu that he had several suspicions about his son's death, citing injuries on his neck and body that appeared to be caused by a sharp knife.
Offering words of encouragement to the family, Naidu announced an ex gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh to Shyam's parents and assured them of any necessary assistance.
It appears that Naidu sought to appease Jr NTR by standing in support of his fan's family. So far, there has been no further reaction from Jr NTR.
