Naidu, too, wants to hire Prashant Kishor?

There is no limit to the wild imaginations of managers of social media these days. Anything and everything can be a news for them and within minutes, it goes viral.

The latest news that is doing rounds in the social media is that Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, too, is planning to hire the services of popular political strategist Prashant Kishore to improve his party prospects by 2024 assembly elections.

According to these rumours, Naidu was advised by Trinamul Congress chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who had recently engaged Prashant’s services for the ensuing assembly elections, in the wake of growing influence of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state.

Since Naidu also badly needs a political strategist to make a turnaround in his party’s prospects in the next five years, Mamata reportedly advised him to engage Prashant for working out long-term strategies.

However, the rumours are far from believing. First of all, all is not well between Prashant and Naidu ever since the former was engaged by YSR Congress party. In fact, Naidu called Prashant a Bihari dacoit with wicked tactics, while Prashant gave him a strong retort by spreading the #bye bye Babu campaign.

Secondly, unlike in West Bengal where Mamata is going to face assembly elections in less than two years, Naidu has nearly five years to face the next elections.

Moreover, the new government of Jagan Mohan Reddy is not even a month-old and nobody would even think of the strategies for the next elections.

Thirdly, there is every possibility that Jagan is said to be toying with the idea of continuing the services of Prashant in the administration as well.

So, it is too foolish to think the same man working for a rival party.
