Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan is a man of contradictions. While he continues to be in alliance with extreme-right wing Bharatiya Janata Party, he often speaks in the Leftist rhetoric, as if he has patented the left wing.
On Wednesday, Pawan came out with a series of tweets, taking pot shots at YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving a different interpretation to the class war, a phrase which is typically used by the Leftists to describe the conflict between the oppressors and the oppressed.
The Jana Sena chief was referring to Jagan’s comments at a public meeting Vinukonda of Palnadu district. While lashing out at the opposition, Jagan said he was fighting alone like a lion even if a pack of wolves targeted him.
Describing the prevailing situation in the State as a conflict between ‘haves’ (represented by Opposition) and ‘have-nots’ (represented by the government), the chief minister said: “It is not a caste war in the state today, but a class war. It is the war between your son (Jagan) who strives to keep every promise made and a gang of betrayers.”
Pawan Kalyan took a dig at Jagan while referring to these comments.
“The Richest CM in India with graft charges, who encourages bauaxite mining in Araku,talks about ‘Class War’ like Comrade Charu Mazumdhar, Comrade Tarimela NagiReddy and Comrade Pucchalipalli Sundarayya. What an Irony!! (sic),” he tweeted.
The Jana Sena went on to attack Jagan: “In Andhra Pradesh there are no Classes, All People have been made as Slaves to the Fiefdom of YCP. From Land to Sand, From Liquor to Mines, from Forests to Hills, From Paper to Red Sandalwood every penny generated from AP is in the hands of the Richest CM, Truly CLASSic!”
He said the YCP made the Poor in AP to remain content with mediocrity; their lives, dignity, hardwork are sold out for few hundreds of doles Middle Class is the most neglected in AP; “YCP treats them as TAX Paying Mute Servants. The Investors exit AP. This is YCP’s "Master – CLASS"!” he said.
Pawan also tried to use his English language skills to target Jagan. “Oxymoron (Noun) - Meaning - A Combination of Contradictory words. Ex – Andhra Pradesh is a State with Poor People run by the Richest CM of the Country Trivia – Our CM’s wealth is more than those of all the other CMs combined; AP CM, A "CLASS" apart!
“Who needs Davos when YCP can bring the galaxy of investments to Andhra; Our IT and Industries Minister has already inaugurated Noodles Centre and Chai Points, now only waiting for the IT Companies to be set up. Another CLASS Act!” the power star observed.
