
Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, is one of the most anticipated pan-Indian films, with major stars from across industries joining the cast. Among them is Prabhas, whose involvement has stirred massive excitement.
At a recent pre-release event, writer BVS Ravi revealed that Prabhas will appear about 15 minutes into the second half, with a total screen time of approximately 20 minutes.
The film is a mythological epic tracing the journey of an atheist hunter who transforms into a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, even offering his eyesight as an act of devotion.
Vishnu Manchu leads the film as Kannappa, with high-profile cameos from Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal.
The ensemble also includes R. Sarathkumar, Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam, Kaushal Manda, Preity Mukhundhan, Madhoo, Mukesh Rishi, and others.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film features Sheldon Chau as cinematographer, Chinna as art director, Ajay Kumar J. as costume designer, and music by Stephen Devassy. It is produced by Mohan Babu under 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment.
Kannappa is set to hit theatres on June 27, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
