Investments flooding in Jagan regime!

YSR Congress party general secretary and parliamentary party leader V Vijay Sai Reddy on Wednesday claimed that investments have started flooding Andhra Pradesh under the dynamic leadership of chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In a statement posted on his social media platform Twitter, Sai Reddy said Adani group has come forward to set up a footwear manufacturing park in Chittoor district at a cost of Rs 700 crore. The group has also agreed to set up an integrated Information Technology park in Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs 14,364 crore.

Similarly, APPL Industries, a leading manufacturer of polymer compounds for Automotive, Appliances and Electrical applications the global market, has come forward to set up a tyre manufacturing unit in Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs 980 crore.

All these companies are expected to provide employment to 37,000 unemployed professionals and technocrats.

“Welfare schemes or investments, hardly anyone can match our honourable CM @ysjagan garu,” Sai Reddy tweeted.

Sai Reddy’s tweet comes within hours of the criticism from former minister and Telugu Desam Party leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao that the YSRC government was deliberately preventing large scale investments in Visakhapatnam and rest of Andhra Pradesh out of sheer political vested interests.

Uma deplored that the allotted lands were snatched away from Lulu, Adani, Templeton and other companies in Vizag that led to a huge setback to the industrial development and employment opportunities there.

He recalled how Visakhapatnam had emerged as an IT hub and as the commercial capital of the State and alleged that there have been zero investments since Jagan became the chief minister.
