Senior Congress leader and former MP, K V P Ramachandra Rao, said that he would reveal the facts behind why he is not with Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking at the Vijayawada Press Club on Saturday, the former MP said that he would one day tell the world what made him stay away from Jagan Mohan Reddy.
KVP had been closely associated with the late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. In fact, he was considered the soul of the late leader.
But KVP did not associate himself with Jagan Mohan Reddy after the latter parted ways with the Congress and floated his own regional party – the YSR Congress Party.
“This is a big question. I can’t be silent without answering it for a long time,” Ramachandra Rao said.
He further said that he would invite the media one day and tell the reasons and facts that made him keep away from Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On the suspension of Rahul Gandhi's membership from Lok Sabha by the Parliament, the Congress leader regretted that the political parties in Andhra Pradesh did not respond.
The whole country had responded to the suspension. Some had condemned it, and some backed it. But the political parties in AP are silent, the Congress leader said.
He wondered why TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who aligned with the Congress in the 2019 general election, is silent.
He also wondered why Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was not questioning the suspension of Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership.
