How Naidu Cheated With Mega Projects?

When Amaravathi was announced as capital city for Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave several sops to various regions in the state to suppress the disgruntled voices from Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra.

On the floor of the assembly, he listed out various developmental projects that would be coming up in each district and promised that development would not be centralized at one place in the new state unlike in the united AP.

To spurt growth in all districts, he announced mega projects. Four and half years later, they have remained on paper. Inclusive growth and all-round development still is a pipedream.

Of the various projects he had announced in the assembly, not even 10 percent have been materialized so far.
