Fact Sheet: Jagan Heads A Govt Of Rejoinders!

Fact Sheet: Jagan Heads A Govt Of Rejoinders!

Even after three years in office, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, is yet to gain control over the administration, if one goes by the sequence of events in Andhra Pradesh.

Though there are dozens of media persons in the government, it is still not reachable to the media, leave alone the yellow media.

In the name of yellow media, the government is keeping every media at a distance and thus has lost the support from even the national media and neutral media.

One wonders why the heads of the government are unavailable and unapproachable to the media in dissemination of information to the people.

It is almost impossible for a media person to reach out to a minister or a senior bureaucrat in the state seeking information.

Heads of the departments or the senior bureaucrats have been the major source of news for journalists to write stories about the government activities.

Unfortunately, in Jagan’s dispensation, these officers are not reachable and not approachable.

But, whenever the yellow media comes up with a negative story, the heads of the government rush to the media with a rejoinder, where they give all the data!

The Sakshi media already has a dedicated column to counter the yellow media, but why should the officials or the heads of the government wait for the yellow media to write some negative story, is a mysterious question.

Those who are found in the corridors of power under Jagan’s dispensation are the journalists belonging to the Sakshi group and not others.

Shockingly, some ministers, MLAs, MLCs, spokespersons and the bureaucrats secretly meet the yellow media journalists and feed them with a lot of information.

In fact, these are the people who are feeding the yellow media to come up with negative stories, at the cost of Jagan’s hard work!

The latest rejoinder is Eenadu’s banner story on Monday on school education and the entire government struggled hard to give a rejoinder by evening!

And on Tuesday too, Eenadu had come up with yet another story on Uttarandhra development and this government is expected to come up with a detailed rejoinder!
