CM Naidu's wife gains Rs 788011646 in just 1 day

Despite a broad market decline on Friday, one FMCG stock defied the trend — and delivered a massive windfall for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneswari Nara.

Shares of Heritage Foods Ltd, an FMCG company promoted by the Naidu family, surged over 7 percent to an intraday high of ₹493.25.

This sharp spike resulted in a one-day gain of ₹78.80 crore for Bhuvaneswari, who owns 2,26,11,525 shares, equivalent to a 24.37% stake in the company (as of June 2025).

The rally followed the company’s announcement of its Q1FY26 results, which appear to have boosted investor confidence.

Founded in 1992 by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Heritage Foods is a South India-based dairy giant with operations spanning dairy, retail, and agri segments.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, the company has become a major player in India’s FMCG sector.

As per the Association for Democratic Reforms, Chandrababu Naidu was India's richest Chief Minister as of December 2024, with declared assets of ₹932 crore.

His wife, Bhuvaneswari, remains the top individual shareholder in Heritage Foods among promoters.
