- When YS Rajasekhara Reddy was killed in the chopper crash, the state Congress got weakened with no strong leadership. At that time, the opposition party attempted to toe down YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the potential heir of state politics for being the son of charismatic YSR. The uncompromising legal attack on YS Jagan and putting him in prison for 16 months has made majority people get shocked. But Jagan didn't succumb to such attacks. He stood strong and fearless. He started his own party, YSRCP.
- YS Jagan won with a thumping majority in 2019 elections, making a record in democratic Indian history by cornering the tenacious TDP with 23 MLA seats and 3 MPs. Irony is, TDP lured the same number of 23 MLAs and 3 MPs from YSRCP and pulled out when TDP was in power. Finally the yellow flag was given the same 23+3 seats by the voters in 2019. Even then, Jagan never took the credit to himself but attributed that victory to God's grace, being a firm theist. He reiterated many times in public meetings and Assembly explaining how God slapped TDP for its mischief and conspiracy.
- Another fearless aspect to be discussed about YS Jagan is, for the first time in democratic history, he became the CM who has complained against the Judges of High Court alleging them with biased judgements. This has shaken the entire national politics and turned the heads of even the national media.
- Jagan is uncompromising in the matter of implementing his manifesto. These many welfare schemes were never introduced by any Chief Minister before. People also have expressed their gratitude that these schemes helped their families in the lockdown times. His uncompromising attitude is continuing even in the three-capital issue.
There can be people who differ with YS Jagan politically, but his strong character is something to be underlined. He proves to be an inspiration for the youngsters in the matter of withstanding mental agony, fighting with patience and coming out triumphant.
