Balakrishna's Silence Benefits TDP

Balakrishna's Silence Benefits TDP

Since Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, Balakrishna has been striving to assert his presence. In the past four and a half years, he refrained from any dramatic actions in the Assembly. However, today, he unexpectedly took the podium, making a spectacle by thumping his thigh and twirling his mustache.

So, what did he speak after walking out from the Assembly? He couldn't communicate with clarity at least for two minutes. His mumbled words, prolonged pauses, and aimless rambling left the audience feeling unimpressed.

In the first place, his decision to participate in the Assembly session might have been ill-advised. He could have opted to stay out the session along with entire TDP members or else would have maintained dignity inside. However, since he chose to attend, he should have made his action or speech effective without any exhibition of outdated antics. Unfortunately, he fell short in this regard.

Above all, the most significant verbal slip by Balakrishna during that press conference was when he stated that the 'skill development scam' is a minor issue. By saying this, he inadvertently confirmed that it is indeed a scam, regardless of its scale.

Consequently, Balakrishna demonstrated that he may not be well-suited to the role of a politician, given his apparent lack of fundamental thought process and communication skills.

In the end, his appearance seemed more comical than anything else. The more Balakrishna speaks, the more damage it may cause to the TDP's reputation.

At this juncture, what the TDP truly needs is Balayya's silence.
