After Revanth, This Advocate Targets Eatala!

Hyderabad-based advocate Immani Rama Rao, who shot into media limelight three years ago by making largescale allegations of financial irregularities against Telangana Congress Committee working president A Revanth Reddy, has now shifted his focus on former state health minister Eatala Rajender.

On Thursday, Rama Rao lodged a complaint with Department of Institutional Finance in the Union Finance Ministry against Rajender, his wife Eatala Jamuna and their children Nithin and Kshamitha, stating that the family had taken crores of rupees from banks and misused them.

He alleged that Rajender family had taken huge loans from Canara Bank by pledging the encroached government lands and endowment lands.

He pointed out that Rajender illegally got registered hundreds of endowments lands in Devara Yamzal and took loans in the name of his wife Jamuna.

Rama Rao requested that the Centre ordered a thorough investigation by Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) into the alleged illegal financial dealings of Rajender and his family.

It may be mentioned that in 2018, too, this same advocate launched a tirade against Revanth Reddy, who joined the Congress party and attacked the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.

He complained to the CBI that Revanth Reddy had indulged in money laundering by forming fake shell companies and availing the illegal profits in crores.

He claimed that based on his complaints, the IT department conducted raids on Revanth Reddy's house in Hyderabad. He alleged that the PCC working president had made Rs 200-300 crore through shady dealings.
