Samantha’s “Yashoda” had an impressive run on the first weekend across Telugu states as well as the USA. Samantha and his team were in a jubilant mood with the collections.
However, the film failed to pass the crucial Monday test. It is normal for any film to see a drop on its first Monday. But in the case of “Yashoda”, the drop in collections is too steep. It collected only 40 percent on Monday.
The same goes for Tuesday as well. All in all, the trend for the film during weekdays is not bright. It remains to be seen whether the film sees a dramatic turn in the second weekend.
“Yashoda” is a thriller. Directed by Hari-Harish, the thriller received average reviews.
