Vyjayatni Movies is all set to complete 50 years and Aswani Dutt’s daughters Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are making content-based movies on Swapna Cinema banner.
Their upcoming flick Anni Manchi Sakunamule is releasing on 18th of this month. Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair played the lead roles in the movie directed by Nandini Reddy.
The producers guarantee that Anni Manchi Sakunamule will give a great experience in the theatres.
“Watching the movie is like going to our grandmother's house in summer and spending 10 days comfortably there.”
Swapna and Priyanka say their wish of doing a movie at a hill station is finally fulfilled with AMS.
“The entire story will take place in Coonoor hill station. When we were kids, we used to go to places like Ooty with my father. For a long time, we wanted to make a family entertainer set in the hill station. The story narrated by Nandini suits this perfectly. Nandini created a town, especially for this movie. It takes you into a different world.”
They inform that their prestigious film- Project K starring Prabhas under the direction of Nag Ashwin is done with 70% of its shoot.
Vyjayanthi Movies made many classics in five decades. Do the producers have plans of making a sequel to any classic from the banner?
“We’re willing to make a sequel to Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.”
