Two Political films Flopped, But RGV Isn't Worried

This is the election season in Andhra Pradesh. Before the election code is enforced, all parties promote political films that support their agendas. Mahi V Raghav's "Yatra 2" was the first political film released this season.

Despite being a biopic of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan's political life, the film did not generate significant revenue and ultimately flopped.

A week later, "Rajadhani Files," produced by pro-TDP filmmakers, hit theaters.

The film discussed how the present Andhra Pradesh administration crushed the expectations of the Amaravati region's farmers.

The TDP and its supporters anticipated it would be a hit. However, the film was an even bigger failure, as no one turned up to watch it.

Despite the failure of both pro-YSRCP and pro-TDP films at the box office, Ram Gopal Varma seems unconcerned.

He plans to release two political films in the next 15 days, "Vyooham" and "Sapatham". He does not care about the outcome but hopes that the films will spark public discussion.

Both films highlight the rivalry between TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
