The World Book of Records (WBR), headquartered in London, has conferred one of its most prestigious honors upon Nandamuri Balakrishna.
They inducted him into the Gold Edition of the World Book of Records, UK. This honor celebrates his unmatched 50-year journey as a leading hero in Indian cinema.
In a milestone that sets him apart, Balakrishna emerges as the one and only Indian hero to be decorated with this extraordinary accolade.
From carrying forward the legendary legacy of his father, NTR, to crafting his own era of cinematic brilliance, Balakrishna has continuously reinvented himself across diverse roles while remaining deeply rooted in Telugu culture and tradition.
With over five decades of box-office triumphs, landmark performances, and an unwavering commitment to his craft, he stands as a rare phenomenon in Indian cinema.
Acknowledging his service beyond films, the recognition also highlights Balakrishna’s social contributions, his leadership in transforming Hindupur as a triple-time MLA and his humanitarian service through the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital.
On August 30th in Hyderabad, Balakrishna will be formally honored by the WBR.
