Top 5: Week Of Big Disasters

Top 5: Week Of Big Disasters

1. Skanda: The movie featuring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was released with some anticipation.

However, though the openings were strong on day-1 the film garnered negative reviews and witnessed a substantial decline on the second day, which happened to be a Friday.

Subsequently, the long weekend provided a temporary boost to the film, but its true fate can only be determined from Tuesday onward.

As it stands, the film is currently facing unfavorable reviews and is seen as struggling at the box office.

2. Pedakapu: The movie, helmed by Srikanth Addala, initially generated considerable promise with its trailer but ultimately turned out to be a disaster.

It failed to garner any impressive opening numbers, and word-of-mouth reviews were overwhelmingly negative.

As of now, the film has completed its full run at the box office, and any signs of a recovery appear to be distant.

3. Chandramukhi 2: "Chandramukhi 2," a sequel to the 2005 film directed by P Vasu, attempted to recreate the magic.

However, with Lawrence stepping into the shoes of Rajnikanth and Kangana Ranaut taking on Jyothika's role, the film failed to capture the audience's interest.

Its outdated narrative and lackluster storyline led to a disastrous opening day in Telugu, leaving it with a disappointing result.

4. Jawan: This film has emerged as a significant success among non-Telugu language movies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Despite being released two weeks ago, it continues to perform admirably even in its fourth week.

The Hindi version, in particular, has enjoyed tremendous popularity among audiences in urban areas and Northern India.

Overall, it's a hit across the board, with the Telugu version also performing strongly.

5. The Vaccine War: The film, helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, renowned for 'The Kashmir Files,' experienced a catastrophic outcome.

He had anticipated that the film would capture the interest of audiences both domestically and globally, given its focus on the widely recognized topic of the Covid Vaccine.

However, there was no audience interest in this film, and it met with resounding failure nationwide, including in the northern region.
