For the past one month, multiplexes are charging unofficial high ticket pricing in Hyderabad.
The normal ticket prices in Hyderabad is Rs 138. But multiplexes are now charging Rs 200 per ticket without any permission from the state government.
Now, the Sankranthi biggies - “Sarileru Neekevvaru” and “Ala Vaikunthapuuramloo” have officially received court order to hike the ticket prices to Rs 200 in all theaters in Telangana including single screens (Rs 120 to 150).
On the other hand, in Andhra Pradesh, the distributors have received orders to hike the prices to Rs 250 in single screens as well. Hence, both these biggies will benefit immensely from the openings.
With intense competition between these two movies, the distributors have turned greedy to reap in the maximum amount in the first weekend itself.
