Actress Surekha Vani made an appeal to the media and the public not to drag her and her family into controversies.
She indirectly denied all allegations of links with producer KP Chowdhary, who was arrested in a drugs case. She posted a video to Instagram Stories.
Despite not mentioning his name or the drug case, she did mention recent 'allegations' and 'controversies'.
"There is no truth in the recent allegations made against me. Our family is suffering as a result of these allegations. Our professions are becoming spoiled. My and my children's lives and careers are being impacted. Please don't drag us into these controversies," she begged in the video.

KP Chowdhary, the Telugu producer of "Kabali," was recently arrested in a drug case by Hyderabad police. He was apprehended while supplying drugs to a customer.
