Strange Similarities In 'MSG' and 'BMW'

Strange Similarities In 'MSG' and 'BMW'

The Sankranthi releases Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and Bharata Mahasayulaku Wignyapti were released yesterday and today respectively, and surprisingly, both films share a few similarities.

In both films, the usage of Kannada is common. In MSG, the character played by Venkatesh is Venky Gowda, a Kannada character who speaks in Kannada with Catherine.

Similarly, in Bharata Mahasayulaku Wignyapti, the character played by Tarak Ponnappa is also a Kannada-speaking role.

He plays the brother of the character portrayed by Ashika Ranganath, and they converse in Kannada. The lighter moments around this is generated in both the films.

Another striking similarity is the abundant use of old songs in both films. While the song “Sundari...” from Dalapathi is repeatedly used as background music in MSG, the song “Rani Ranamma...” from Maa Pallelo Gopaludu is repeatedly played as background music in BMW.

Thus, two films released within a one-day gap share some interesting and unexpected similarities.
