Something Special: Five Directors Worked For 'Krack'

Everybody knows Gopichand Malineni is the director of the film "Krack". But there are five more directors who worked for this film, not as directors but as actors. 

Here are the details. 

Samuthirakani, who played the main villain role of Katari krishna in "Krack" is not only known for his presence in "Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo" but he is an acclaimed film director in Tamil. He directed his first film "Unnai Charanadaindhen" in 2003 that won him the Tamil Nadu Film Award for Best Story Writer. Later he directed many movies and TV serials as well. He also directed Shambho Shiva Shambho with Ravi Teja in 2010 and Jenda Pai Kapiraju with Nani in 2015. His latest 2020 multilingual film "Kitna" is delayed due to the pandemic reasons.

Devi Prasad, who played the role of a mischievous cop that backstabs Ravi Teja by shooting an innocent person, is another senior film director. He directed many popular films like Mr Pellikoduku, Blade Babji, Leela Mahal Center etc. But he became busy as an actor these days ever since he proved his talent with the film "Needi Naadi Oke Katha".

Vivek is another director who appeared in this film. He played the role of a rough cop who appears in two scenes. Ravi Teja slaps him hard on his face when he misbehaves and insults him in a scene. Vivek directed the film "Bejawada" with Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul. 

BVS Ravi, is a  well known writer turned director who acted in this film. He directed two films- Wanted with Gopichand and Jawan with Sai Dharam Tej. He played a small character who gets arrested in the pre climax. When asked the reason for his arrest he replies, "Noti Doola". 

Mahesh Kathi, the well known controversial person also directed a film with the title "Pesarattu". 

So, on a whole there are five film directors who appeared on screen as actors in "Krack". That's something special to be noted.
