Small Technicians Leaving Film Nagar

Small Technicians Leaving Film Nagar

Telugu top producers and stars are coming to terms with the fact that they may not resume the shootings in the next six months. 2020 is entirely going to be wasted.

Until a month ago, there was a hope that the situation would come under control in Telugu states by September or October.

But many states and cities in India are imposing lockdown again and several countries are also noticing a surge of COVID19 cases after a long lull.

The data and the current trend show that the corona cases will not be contained for another three or four months. That leaves no room for resuming the shoot this year.

All biggies can only hope to begin their regular shoot in December or early January.

However, several productions that can be wrapped up their shooting part with 10 or 20 days of work may take risk of resuming the shoot after September or October.

This is the latest situation in Tollywood’s filmnagar. Several big production houses have terminated their staff.

Assistant directors and co-directors have left Krishna Nagar and Venkatagiri to stay in their villages and hometowns until the shootings resume.
