Adivi Sesh’s upcoming love-and-action entertainer Dacoit is all set for its theatrical release on Telugu New Year, Ugadi, March 19, 2026.
The makers who unveiled a special poster on Sesh’s birthday (Dec 17), came up with the film’s teaser today.
While the teaser smartly refrains from revealing the full story, it strongly hints at a tale where broken love meets brutal crime.
The narrative appears to revolve around two former lovers who reunite for one final mission, a journey packed with twists, chases, and high-voltage thrills.
Despite being his directorial debut, Shaniel Deo strikes an impressive balance between love, action, intensity, and drama, delivering a teaser that feels both stylish and engaging, clearly aimed at being a complete entertainer.
Adivi Sesh emerges as the driving force, stealing the spotlight with a wide range of expressions. Far from a conventional hero, his character is layered and unpredictable, showcasing attitude, swag, and mass appeal.
The glimpses of him as a prisoner further add intrigue to his role, while his command over the Madanapalle slang highlights his adaptability and commitment to the character.
Mrunal Thakur’s character appears equally significant, especially as his former lover, adding emotional depth to the narrative.
Anurag Kashyap is introduced as a police officer adorned with a mala- jovial on the surface yet sincere and sharp in duty.
