Hero Venkatesh is awaiting the release of Saindhav which marks his 75th film. Sailesh Kolanu directed the movie under the banner of Niharika Entertainment and it is due for release in a couple of days.
Venkatesh says he doesn’t feel the pressure of doing his 75th film and says he puts in same and sincere efforts for each movie. “Every film requires hard work. 75 is just a number. There is still a long way to go.”
The actor affirms he liked the father-daughter sentiment a lot when he first heard the story from Sailesh. “There are emotional action sequences which are required for the story. The action blocks will be very natural. Saindhav is a very fast-paced movie. Saindhav’s world-building is very different. It is set in a fictional town Indraprastha. Working with director Sailesh Kolanu was a great experience.”
Venky reveals the story of Saindhav is very unique. “The screenplay of the movie is also very different. Sailesh designed the climax sequence extraordinarily.”
He calls Nawazuddin Siddiqui a versatile actor for trying to do every scene in his own style.
“His journey from Gangs of Wasseypur has been very atypical. He played a very crazy role in Saindhav. He is an actor who makes even the usual sequence differently.”
Venkatesh says he is yet to decide on his next, though he listened to 2-3 stories.
