The upcoming period love sage Virata Parvam directed by Venu Udugula revolves around the character Vennela played by Sai Pallavi, while Rana will be seen as a revolutionary leader Ravanna.
As revealed by the director, the story is based on real incidents and the character of Vennela is inspired by a real-life character named Sarala.
Yesterday, the film’s Aathmeeya Veduka event was held in Warangal with the entire team gracing the occasion.
The team went to meet Sarala’s family in the town and they received a warm welcome from the family.
Sarala’s mother is said to have turned very emotional and treated Sai Pallavi like her own daughter.
It’s a tradition to offer Saree, when a daughter comes home. Likewise, Sarala’s mother presented a saree to Sai Pallavi.
Sai Pallavi and the entire team too became very emotional with the gesture. Particularly, Sai Pallavi who is an emotional person broke into tears. Rana and Venu Udugula were also there.
The film Virata Parvam, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri is slated for release on 17th of this month.
