Director Prashanth Neel made their debut as a director with the 2014 Kannada film, Ugramm. The film emerged as a hit and he went on direct Pan-India blockbuster “KGF”.
Prashanth Neel has chosen the same subject for his Telugu debut. The director is going to make slight changes to the story of “Ugramm” and mount it on a lavish scale for his next outing with Prabhas.
Buzz in the industry is that Prabhas has agreed to this project for the sole reason that the film would not need much of his call sheets.
Since the script is ready and Prashanth Neel does not require many days to shoot this remake, Prabhas has agreed to work with him.
The film is s a Pan-India project as well. However, it will be quickly wrapped up. Prabhas wants three releases in the next two years.
Nag Ashwin's sci-fi thriller requires him to shoot for many days. So, the film will be taken to the sets a bit late.
