Rana Daggubati is keen on doing the remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
He has not only chosen to play Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character in the Telugu version, but also decided to co-produce it.
Sithara Entertainments bagged the remake rights for a fancy price and they tried to rope in Balakrishna for Biju Menon’s role.
Raviteja has been finalized for that character and Sagar Chandra of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame is roped in as the director.
It is reported that Sagar Chandra has made changes to the original script to suit our sensibilities and the image of Raviteja and Rana.
However, Rana is not willing to go with the director’s version as he wants certain changes to be made to the character that he plays.
Hence, he has assigned the job to his writing team that will give necessary tweaks to his character.
Prithviraj’s character looks a bit weak in the original and Rana wants it to be as heroic and as ferocious as the other character.
