The Telugu film producers had convened a meeting before resuming the shootings after the lifting of the second lockdown.
Among the decisions taken was films that are in the final stages of shooting should be completed first.
Until these films get released, no hero or heroine should start a new film.
This decision was taken to control the stars who are jumping into other projects with new commitments, pressing a pause button to the ongoing projects.
At this juncture Tamil Production House Lyca and the lobby of Tamil producers requested the Telugu Produces' Council to prevent Shankar from starting the film with Ram Charan, as the director is half way through his committed ongoing project Indian 2.
So the point in the request is that the Telugu actor Ram Charan and producer Dil Raju should not cooperate with Shankar until he completes Indian 2.

The Telugu Film Producers’ Council also wants an amicable solution to this controversy.
