Basking in the success of “Venky Mama”, Raashi Khanna is happily promoting her upcoming release “Prati Roju Pandaage”, her second pairing with her ‘Supreme’ star Sai Dharam Tej.
She plays Angel Arna, a TikTok obsessed girl.
“Yes, I play a girl named Angel Arna who is a TikTok celebrity. When the offer first came to me, I was not sure of taking up this as I was reading how people are obsessed with TikTok that is leading to death as well with dangerous feats. But after Maruthi Garu completely explaining the character, I undertook. Director Maruthi knows the pulse of the audience,” she explained about her character.
Interestingly, she is not that crazy about TikTok in real life but she has joined the platform.
“I have now understood why people like it so much. In Andhra and Telangana, people love movies, they are crazy about actors and acting. TikTok has given them a platform to showcase their acting talents. I am now also on this platform,” she revealed further.
She also confessed that she doesn't even take selfies in real life much.
“But my profession needs me to get connected with the people through various social media. And I am here,” she said.
Talking about the film, she described ‘Prati Roju Pandage’ as a good family entertainer which has beautiful characters. She also said working with Tej has always been a good experience.
“After our combination clicked in Supreme, there bound to be more expectations. Tej has done a very good job, he has got more confidence now knowing well that the script is solid,” she added.
Talking about ‘Venky Mama’, she said she had learned a lot from Venkatesh garu about life during the sets.
“He is a wise person. There was so much positivity on the sets. Both Venkatesh and Chaitanya are cool persons,” she said.
Raashi Khanna also revealed that she likes Samantha’s work.
“She is my favorite. I love her performance. She is doing a fabulous job. She is an inspiration to me as an actress,” Raashi concluded.
